Heroes Hall Dedication Ceremony

On November 11, 2016 the Heroes Hall museum building was dedicated.

Located on the Orange County Fairgrounds, this building once was a barracks used by the Santa Ana Air Base and was originally going to be destroyed. Veterans and preservationists successfully lobbied the Orange County Fair Board to save the building in 2013. The building was moved to its new location and a ribbon cutting ceremony was held today.

A large number of speakers to include local, state and federal level politicians attended as did many veterans and citizens. All the branches of service had their moment as their flag was raised and theme song played. This video is an unedited account of what happened.
